About Me

I am an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at the University of North Florida. I was a visiting researcher at Xerox PARC from Mar. to Dec. in 2017. In May 2016, I earned my Ph.D. in computer science from University of Kentucky, under the supervision of Dr. Mirosław Truszczyński. In July 2010, I earned my B.Eng. in software engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.

My research mostly has been about solving both theoretical and practical problems on decision making, using tools and methods found in artificial intelligence, computational social science, and computational complexity theory.

My Erdős number is 3. I am an AAAI and ACM member. I am the founder and director of the UNF Artificial Intelligence Lab (UNFAIL).
